ANZAC Day 2025

ANZAC Day Commemorative Service Friday April 2025 - On ANZAC Day, Brighton Primary school student leaders, students and their families attended the Brighton community service at Remembrance Park, Brighton. Student leaders read a poem and laid a wreath as part of the ceremony. It was wonderful to see all the students and their families who were able to attend.
On Tuesday, April 29, Prep -Grade Two classes and our Grades 3-6 classes had an assembly to commemorate ANZAC Day, which fell in the school holidays. We learnt about the meaning of ANZAC Day, watched a story about why we march on ANZAC Day and listened to the Last Post. Student Leaders read a poem and explained the meaning of the Last Post song.
